After you finish your first orientation you will have a general idea of what you want to do. Your first responsibility as a new volunteer is to contribute to daily life at the station through general volunteer work – this is your chance to see CHUO in action – you might end up sorting CD’s in the music library, entering data into one of our many databases, making posters, translation, voicing ads, scripting station IDs and a plethora of other stimulating tasks!
Once you’ve shown your unending dedication to CHUO it’s high time we set up some times to do training. All volunteers are encouraged to sign up for all trainings. Your first sessions will be all about Music then the basics of Production, the next round of trainings will be interview skills, then the biggie – ON-AIR! Remember it all depends o. you and how dedicated you want to be to CHUO 89.1 FM.
