This year the University of Ottawa’s Department of Geography, Geographic Statistical and Government Information Centre (GSG), and the Laboratory for Applied Geomatics and GIS Science (LAGGISS) will host GIS Day 2011. There will be student exhibits and events taking place between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 16th of November in the University Unicenter (see attached map).
