Review: Demetra – Lone Migration

Demetra is a songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She just released her debut album “Lone Migration”.

Eleven tracks filled with catchy folk pop with orchestral tunes.

There is a certain theme of being in the Arctic.
Her vocal reminds me of Joni Mitchell from the 1960s.

Also her vocals are very haunting when listening to the rest of the album.

Most the songs make you imagine the places she is singing with its landscape and the wild.

This is a unique folk pop album
